So it's 2024 and people are getting into the flow of the year and have probably already broken their boring new years resolutions. In fact today is "Quitters day" the day when most people will have quit their new years resolution.
So for a bit of fun, I thought it'd be nice for us all to share the silliest resolutions we've heard.

Some of my favorites;
Spend one hour a week only talking in animal noises.
Perfect a celebrity impression.
I will not act my age.
Stop blaming my bottom burps on the dog.
I will find an obscure national day each month and celebrate it. (I recommend national chocolate cake day.)

So over to you, oh lovely community.  What are some of your favorite silly new years resolutions?

Let us know.

    Stop eating dairy.

No cheese = good way to ensure life isn't worth living. :open_mouth:

Cheese is one of the reasons I didn't stick to Veganuary the other year. I was nothing without my cheese doses.

I think I could quite easily be a veggie for a month but I would really struggle without my cheese and milk - a couple of times a week I will have a whole pint of milk - I think it's my favourite non-alcoholic drink!

Hah, that's a lot of milk!  I tend to have oat milk for coffee and lacto-free milk for everything else.  But I'm certainly ok with full fat lactose cheese. :)

@Albus_Scope are you lactose intolerant? (Obviously only asking if you are happy to answer)

This cheese site has some interesting info about cheese & lactose...

I'm only mildly intolerant, so I can risk it. ;)  Sis is much worse than me, but will still suffer for the tastiness.

I went all out for cheese this Christmas! My cheap veg got roasted by new year as I didn't want to cook but these cheeses saw me through very happily :)

    Also why I'm not vegan

My only resolution in recent years was to give up black socks - pairing them up was just tiresome  ;)
