I had my assessment on January 2nd — Report got to DWP on January 8th, I requested a copy on Jan 9th — something’s weren’t counted in my favour but I added up the recommended score of 9 on daily living and 12 on mobility. Based on my evidence and my pip2 form could this be made to be enhanced on both? I have long term back issues for the last 11 years as nothing is going to get better based on the cauda equina

Hi @Substantialmind - as woodbine says, the assessor's report is just a recommendation. Once you receive your decision letter, you can appeal the decision by doing what's called a Mandatory Reconsideration; details about this will be towards the back of your letter. Whether you could improve on any potential award will depend on whether you may get more points, so it would be useful to check again by looking here: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/personal-independence-payment-descriptors-and-scores-april-2023.pdfAs you suggest, you can also ask for a longer award due to your Cauda Equina Syndrome, but this will depend again as to what you're decision letter actually says. Hoping it's a good outcome.1
