Hi. Thanks for you reply. I receive this message asking not to contact them Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call before you get the letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision. Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change.0

I called the automated helpline earlier and they told me the payment amount of the sum I already get is getting paid in a few days. Will this be the correct amount do you think?0

Thank you very much. Do you have any advice on what to ask or say I’m not good with speaking on the phone. I am on hold now.0

I called the line the lady was really nice and helpful. I cant quite believe it. My pip review the assessor has scored me 0 and all activities. Shes made things up that I never said like I drive I told her I don’t drive , I don’t take pain medication I take codeine, things like this. I can use a walking stick so my grip is okay when I said I’ve had to go from crutches to that to ease my grip & that I can use standard cutlery when that isn’t true I cannot use knives for cutting and chopping etc. When I was granted pip previously I scored 11 on mobility & 13 on daily living. My condition has not changed only worsened and I have been scored 0 on all aspects. The stress of preparing for review and assessment is too much for me to handle. The advisor advised me to put in a mandatory reconsideration but I’m not sure I will because it’s way too much for my health and anxiety.0

Thank you. Will a mandatory reconsideration consist of a new assessment ?0

Hi @toppy1 - with a Mandatory Reconsideration, another DWP decision maker will look at everything again; you don't need another assessment. When you receive your decision letter, & you'll still have to wait for that, details about a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) will be towards the back of the letter.I'm very sorry it seems the outcome of your review was so poor. I think sometimes there's little space on review forms, & claimants may not go into the same detail as they did in their initial claim form, which they should do so....you can add extra pages at the end.
With your MR, which is best put in writing (a letter is fine) you should say where you think you should have got points, as bobby123 says, giving a couple of recent, detailed examples as to the difficulty you face for each applicable descriptor, i.e. when did it happen, where, what happened, did anyone see this, & were there any consequences to attempting/doing an activity?
Say if you can't do an activity 'reliably,' i.e. safely, to an acceptable standard, repeat as often as one would reasonably expect, or if it takes you much longer than someone without a disability. See this mentioned at the end of the link above.
Put your name & National Insurance number on each page. Keep a copy, & get a free Certificate of Posting from your Post Office when sending it off.

When you filled out the forms did you treat it as a new claim? Or did you just put no change, if there were no changes?0
