Yeah I used to go to Wetherspoons for Breakfast a few years ago. Good value.

Rosie_Scope

Happy Belated Birthday @Johnboy412000! Sounds like you had a good time in Blackpool ☺️

ChrisR777

Nice one, Chris Packham just popped up on BBC Radio Scotland. He has a series of lectures (He says a discussion) coming up. Sounds great.

Rosie_Scope

Sounds fab @ChrisR777, I really admire Chris Packham. Did he say whether they were recording them, or will they be in-person events?

I wasn't paying attention to dates etc, he will no doubt mention it before the end of the interview. On about his mental health atm, and how he got into punk.

ChrisR777

I became vegan because of guys like him, he made me question my eating habits.

ChrisR777

I imagine "World of Wonder: A Planet On The Edge" has or will be coming to London etc, but he is in Glasgow and Edinburgh this coming November.

Sorry to make you jealous, I didn't intend to give the impression I was there in person! I'm afraid I was only watching the telly. 🤣

Very quiet day, slept in until 12 again 😤

Not feeling 100% still, I am frustrated and fed up with myself at the moment

I honestly feel like I am stuck in a massive rut on an endless hell loop. I am just sleeping, eating and watching tv each day, neglecting both myself and also the housework as well. Mental and Physical Health is a hard thing to balance on an even keel. Don’t know which way to turn either, I liken this to being stuck on an endless roundabout, never knowing which exit to take. I have to not only find a balance but also a compromise as well to live my life better.

I get you now 🤣

Rag_793

Managed a few hours of sleep last night 😴 only done a few bits this morning. Main thing done is organise all the rubbish, I don’t think my council will like me. I have put a large clear bag filled with dissected cardboard boxes from a recent delivery. Going to rest up for the day and try to recharge my internal battery.

Johnboy412000

Good morning again. Was raining earlier. Bit breezy but otherwise not too bad temp wise. Chill day today for me. Hope you all have a nice day and take care.

Many thanks Rosie. Yeah I enjoyed Blackpool despite the rain on Thursday afternoon. I intend to go back sometime and stay in the same hotel. Thinking of 3 nights this time as there's so much I didn't get to see cos of the weather on Thursday. It was ok till around 3pm.

Had a really bad headache last night, made a coffee and ended up falling asleep. Woke up with a cold, sore throat and fever, so I’m feeling pretty rough today. Took my supplements already, but my head is still pounding and I can barely eat because of my throat. Hopefully it passes soon.

Rachel_Scope

Good morning everyone!

It's a bit cooler today and looks like it might rain. I'm listening to some dance music to boost my energy 😄

I hope you both have a restful day @Rag_793 and @Johnboy412000. I'm sorry you're feeling so ill @prestencollin. Is it worth a trip to the dr?

Hope your on the mend soon

Good Morning Everyone,

Thanks, that’s kind of you @Rachel_Scope. I think I’ll see how I am over the next day or so. If the fever or headache gets worse, I’ll probably give the doctor a call. Hopefully it clears up soon.

Thanks mate @Rag_793, appreciate it. Hopefully I’ll be feeling a bit better soon!

Good morning everyone. Chilly start. I got my Annual check up at the doctors surgery at 12:40pm today. The usual BP and BS and Urine tests and height and weight etc and pin test on the feet. And a few questions. I think the Nurse will be pleased with my new lifestyle. Have a nice day everyone and take care.
