How is your day going?

It's very windy here, mines still in machine it needs to hurry up. I need to pop to the chemist to get my owed inhalers, after it pegged out1
-
I just got back from breakfast. I had a "Miami Breakfast" which is cheese and sweetcorn fritters, avocado, black bean and sweetcorn salad, a tomato salsa salad type thing, pickled onion, and poached eggs with chorizo. It was really nice and looked so colourful as well. I was half tempted to take a photo to put on here but I don't like people snapping their meals in restaurants for social media so I didn't want to be a hypocrite.

Sounds nice @66Mustang about 4 of your 5 a day there1
-
Ha ha that's true @Sandy_1231
-
I'm not a fan of avocado I wish I liked them because they are good for you, same as olives2
-
I like guacamole but it's the only way I can stomach avocados, you couldn't pay me to eat an olive.3

Not to bad today, wind damaged the front fence, but apart from that its ok, hope everyone has a good afternoon x1
-
The neighbour lost a bit of their back fence in the storm 2 weeks ago. The old panel was just... gone, no idea where it went!
The new panel didn't survive the night! I think it might be the posts that are the issue.1 -
Our friends lost a chunk of their carport roof, they have no idea where it landed.1
-
I've put next doors panels back on their property, they already had a broken one that they prop up with the bins. So I hope they sort it out or we will be sharing gardens in summer.
There a huge dead rat in the road and on my way back all the magpies are picking it and eating it, gross1 -
We lost a few slates last night. The roof needs replaced but I'll have to get quotes and save and wait for calmer weather around April.
@Sandy_123 I'm pleased the Devon tea arrived for your daughter.1 -
Yes @Marydoll5 it's nice to get a treat. I hope your roof will be ok2

I struggled with weight as a child. I now struggle with it in the opposite direction with my Crohn's disease! I once (years ago now) lost 2 stone in 2 months. I'm healthier than that now, but I struggle to keep my weight in the healthy zone still as it's hard to gain weight.1

Sorry for not posting today, I have had a day out, we went to St. Ives, if anyone has heard of it. Not the seaside town. A nice old town on a river near where I live relatively near to Cambridge. I did all the driving and it was a lovely drive along the country roads to get there.2

Sounds a good day for you today @66Mustang2
