How is your day going?

The neighbour lost a bit of their back fence in the storm 2 weeks ago. The old panel was just... gone, no idea where it went!
The new panel didn't survive the night! I think it might be the posts that are the issue.1 -
Our friends lost a chunk of their carport roof,they have no idea where it landed.1
-
I've put next doors panels back on their property, they already had a broken one that they prop up with the bins. So I hope they sort it out or we will be sharing gardens in summer.
There a huge dead rat in the road and on my way back all the magpies are picking it and eating it, gross1 -
We lost a few slates last night. The roof needs replaced but I'll have to get quotes and save and wait for calmer weather around April.
@Sandy_123 I'm pleased the Devon tea arrived for your daughter.1 -
Yes @Marydoll5 it's nice to get a treat. I hope your roof will be ok2

@Beaver79
Your friend will be grateful she had you to speak to that’s a great support just being there at the end off a phone can a lot off times be enough.
@Sandy_123
Aww glad the Devon tea arrived and I bet greatly received.
@Ada

I struggled with weight as a child. I now struggle with it in the opposite direction with my Crohn's disease! I once (years ago now) lost 2 stone in 2 months. I'm healthier than that now, but I struggle to keep my weight in the healthy zone still as it's hard to gain weight.1

Sorry for not posting today, I have had a day out, we went to St. Ives, if anyone has heard of it. Not the seaside town. A nice old town on a river near where I live relatively near to Cambridge. I did all the driving and it was a lovely drive along the country roads to get there.2

Sounds a good day for you today @66Mustang2

Thanks @Sandy_123 and @Ada yes had the best day today for ages going for a good walk then breakfast then for a trip out. I have been feeling quite tearful today so it was nice to have some distractions.
I have never been to Wales @ada but apparently the roads there are lovely for driving. I would like to go one day, I will let you know if we go with the hope that you will have the kettle on1 -
@Lou67 you will be in my thoughts for your operation tomorrow
@Ada I watched 600-lb life today. Made me remember no matter how much you struggle there's always someone worse off. I'm in need of losing 4 stones and it gets me down.
@66Mustang glad you had a nice afternoon.
You are all lovely people and apologies if I don't tag you....I include you all in my posts.
This is a lifeline especially days like today where its been hard as I have hardly done one thing I'm being asked to do something else. I'm able to connect to you all and not lose my head

Some of the roads are lovely to drive on @66Mustang,as long as you don't get stuck behind a tractor for three days.3
