    I hope the meds work for your mum @Lou67 (and it’s lovely to see you posting too!). I've had that feeling for the past few days, really busy but seemingly not making getting anywhere! I'm sure you're making more progress than you realise.

    We've the same weather here @Teigr, it certainly isn't helping my festive spirit!

    @Amberpearl, sorry for your loss. Anniversaries like this can bring up a lot of emotions, and it's clear your dad meant so much to you. Do you do anything in his memory today?

    I am very sorry. Remember the time you spend together. You can not lose that . But it is very sad. My mum died in 1994 and I still sometimes remember her. Sadly it is something hard to understand but people get old sometimes they don't and die of illness like my mum. Take care.

    I’m so sorry to hear you’re feeling like that @Schildpad. It’s good that you don’t need to go out and can stay cosy at home, especially with the weather being so miserable.

    We are splitting the cooking between two house holds @Adrian_Scope plus my daughter is here to help me. Then we will will eat together here. I've told grandkids Santa came early to mine as he was very busy and they are happy to get getting gifts a day early at mine

    Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

    For those of you missing loved ones who have passed away be kind to yourselves. It's especially hard this time of year.

    I'm sure your dinner was lovely @Sandy_123. Shout out to @Lou67 my good friend.

    Anyone ill physically or mentally I hope you have a good day tomorrow. I realised that as long as I got the dinner done tomorrow its enough. The rest is window dressing and so what if the house isn't decorated like usual and is not pristine. I'm doing the best I can as all are of you x
