Oh lovely stuff @durhamjaide2001 have you been there before, or are you trying somewhere new?

I'm on holiday so I think we are trying somewhere new

Morning everyone! ๐
Hope you all had lovely Christmases! I tend to take my decorations down after New Year's Day too. Always looks so bare afterwards but I don't like to have it hanging around too long.
Enjoy your pub lunch @durhamjaide2001!

Oh of course @durhamjaide2001 I totally forgot about your holiday! Fingers crossed you find somewhere really nice. ๐

I've just discovered that Christmas is officially over on Jan 6th, so all decorations should be down on the 5th.

Morning everyone it's a good breezy day for laundry

I hate how bare and miserable the house looks once the decorations have been put away @Rosie_Scope.
I've ordered an extra Christmas tree for next year,so it'll look even more bare and miserable come January.

It does always look a bit dreary afterwards!
A group of my friends organised a mini festival in early February one year as we'd all got so fed up of it being wintery and dark.
We called it Spring-back Festival. We popped up some colourful decorations and had a nice meal to try and bring some joy back into the Winter time before Spring properly showed up.
I wish we'd made in an annual thing but we only did it once unfortunately! I feel like we could all do with something like that to brighten up the long months after Christmas is over!

Haha, oh I know that one oh so well @Amberpearl I was giving a lovely warm Oodie by mum two years ago. I left it on the bed and the cat claimed it as hers. It's now on my bed, in the shape of a cats bed. So I have half a bed to sleep on most nights. ๐
