Hello everyone. I'm waiting for a tribunal for pip. The dwp have responded to the tribunal but not to me. I've received nothing in the post. I have called the DWP and have been told that they have responded to the tribunal and I should contact the courts to ask for the response. I know this is wrong and the dwp are suppost to send me a copy of their response. The dwp are being very unhelpful on the phone after waiting over an hour to get through.

When did they respond? It may take a while to receive it.0

Hi @Dianaf, usually what happens is the DWP has 28 days to respond to the Courts request and they send the Tribunal all their documents and evidence. The Court is then supposed to send you a copy. How long ago did they send their evidence to the court?
You can read more about the process on our advice page about the Tribunal Process. I hope this helps you with getting this sorted. The people on the phone at the DWP are just call handlers, they usually know very little about the actual processes involved! It can be very frustrating when you are trying to get basic information from them I know.
Let us know if this is helpful, and good luck with your Tribunal. We are here if you have anymore questions0 -
Hi thank you for getting back to me. The dwp responded to the court 12 days ago. The court have said in an email that it is the dwps responsibility to send me a copy of the response (I have called them too) and the dwp say it's the courts responsibility. It's so upsetting.0
