Does the case manager always agree with the assessor report on pip? Q12 I said I can only walk up to 20 metres due to breathlessness. The assessor said in their opinion I can walk 200 metres

The assessors reports are usually guides for the case manager, so they're usually followed, but not always. If you feel they've got things wrong, you can apply for a mandatory reconsideration, where you can state where and why you feel the assessor got things wrong.Albus (he/him)

I phoned them and they said they will leave a not against Q12 for the DM to see

The assessors report was sent over on the 4th December. When can I expect a decision? This was a change of circumstances

Decisions can be anything from a few weeks to a few months unfortunately. It very much depends on their current backlog. Hopefully you should hear something soon.

I cannot say yes or no I'm afraid, that's all up to the case manager, though they will see the note. Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer there.Albus (he/him)
