I’ve been waiting 29 weeks for my tribunal hearing and still haven’t got a date set yet. Just wondering if that is normal ?

Potentially 10+ months. You can contact HMCTS and ask them what the current waiting times are and they maybe able to give you a guide but it’s just a guide.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Sorry you've been waiting so long @BrainbleedHan, fingers crossed it's not too much longer. Welcome to the community, by the way! Keep us posted with how you get on.Rosie (she/her)

Mine took a year

My tribunal is a year since my initial pip application and appeal request was made in June with my tribunal scheduled for February

My tribunal is next week, 51 weeks since I applied for the tribunal!

Well I phoned up HMCTS and they said they couldn't even give me a rough estimate and would just have to sit tight until they contacted me.
-
I’ve called and they’ve said mine is ready to be allocated once new tribunal dates are released. Not sure how true that is ??
-
Not something I've ever heard of but it's feasible they may batch release dates I suppose.
-
They call it 'Ready to list' and yes that is true as I was told the same when I inquired about a timescale. It was around a month before mine was listed and I was given a date.
