Hi @kerningkerny! I don't think using a wheelchair makes you lazier. When I needed one, it helped me enjoy life more as I wasn't so tired or in pain from trying to walk.

You could try asking your GP to refer you to the local wheelchair service and go from there. They can assess you to see whether they think it would help you and what type of wheelchair would work best for you. If you have a physio or specialist it might be a good idea to talk to them about it too.

There's some information about wheelchair referrals on the NHS website here if you'd like to read about it.

And just so you know, I've put the two posts you made about wheelchairs together into one place, so it's easier for you to keep track of the replies. I hope that's okay :)

Thank you for your comment I'm actually Agrophobic.
I've had a really tough few years lots cope with.  I might ask my GP to refer me to the wheelchair service.
That's if there's indoor wheelchairs available. Hope your enjoying your evening? It's far to cold to do much tonight.

Sorry to hear that you've had some tough times @kerningkerny. I hope the GP can help you with the referral and you can find a way to feel less pain :)

Hope you're enjoying your evening too! It's definitely very chilly again. Seems like a good idea to get snuggled up warm tonight and just take it easy!
