Hi, anyone been successful with PIP for Fibromyalgia? I do have other things going on too….. i am also a carer for my DD….. do you think it is worth still trying? TIA

Many many people claim PIP because of the way fibro affects them. Though it's worth pointing out that PIP isn't awarded based on any diagnosis. I have fibro as well as other conditions too and i've claimed it for 10 years.Lots of people also care for others and claim PIP theirself, myself included as i'm a carer for my daughter. My caring duties do not contradict the reasons why i claim PIP, which you do need to be aware of.Whether there's any entitlement will really depend on how your conditions affect you.1
