I actually need some advice on care and if I'm entitled to it with my current disability. I have a non functioning bowel from my stomach down to my anus and a blockage in my small intestine plus other health issues. I've also had two heart attacks and a few strokes. Lately I've been struggling to cope with things and my health so my mum has been staying with me for past six months to help care for me but unfor7i only live in a bedding and the place is far too small for one person with all these disaniltys let alone another person. I'm currently with the housing association am I entitled to a larger place so my mum can be my live in CARER?

    Really appreciate your response

Hello,  that sounds like a lot to be dealing with.
I'm not sure the answer to that question.  It might be better to post it in one of the other categories, because there are people who may be able to answer it there.  If that makes sense.

Hi @ZoeV, welcome to our community :) I hope you find whatever you're looking for here! I'll just get to your question, but if you want to get to know other community members the "How is your day?" post is quite a good place to start. It's just a place for saying what's going on today for you!

About what you're entitled to, are you receiving any benefits right now? I know how much pain such issues can be, I have Crohn's disease and have had blockages in my small intestine before. If you need a carer than you should be able to contact your local authority about this, if your mum is your full-time carer then she does need space to stay. So you should be able to go on the housing list for a place that can accommodate both you and your mum.

Let me know if you already receive any benefits and if you're unsure where exactly to go to get help from your local authority!
