Heya @jay2900 and welcome to the community, I'm hope you're ok on this sunny day?
With regard to hiring wheelchairs, there are a lot of places that can help you. The Red Cross are a trusted organisation and offer hire. There's also Mobility Hire, which I've seen a few people on here talk about.1 -
Hi, thanks for this. I will check them out and update here if somebody else is in the same position.2

Hi, just to update this for anyone else in a similar position.
I spent a load of time researching over the weekend and some of these companies are charging way too much.
Mobility hire for example charges £46.8 for delivery, that's crazy, I hope they come and help me push for that price
Red cross is reasonable but will only deliver 1 day a week, so that's not ideal.
Lendocare look reasonable too, with similar pricing to red cross but can deliver anytime.
Wheelfreedom seems to be overpriced like Mobility hire, £43.20 for delivery
I put some pricing for these companies for 1 and 2 weeks as reference for anyone interested.
1 week hire:
Red cross - £47
Mobility hire - £82.2
Lendocare - £49.99
Wheelfreedom - £61.2
2 week hire:
Red cross - £****
Mobility hire - £82.2
Lendocare - £****.99
Wheelfreedom - £79.2
I ended up booking with Lendocare because of the cheapest delivery and also total price was less than a pound more than red cross but I'm having it delivered when i need it. This is their website if anyone is interested https://www.lendocare.com/
Hope this helps and have a nice day.
