It varies quite considerably depending on backlog and each individual case. Some wait weeks and others wait several months. Most people have assessments so you should expect one of those. Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted.1

Hi @arsenaljordan24, welcome to the community. As Poppy mentioned, it does vary quite a lot so unfortunately it's difficult to say how long it will take. I hope you're not waiting too much longer for yours, fingers crossed it comes through soon!
If you need anything to take your mind off things, our coffee lounge and games room can be a fun place to get to know other members. I've popped your post over to our Universal Credit section, so if you have any more questions please feel free to ask0 -

You need to continue to provide fit notes until a decision is made on the WCA. Gaps can affect when the extra money is paid from if found to have LCWRA.0

@arsenaljordan24 Hope it isn't too long a wait!
@bookrabbit Good luck with your assessment, please keep us updated0 -
Hi. I posted my UC50 back on the 28th December. I recieved a letter today with an appointment on 26th February for my assessment. I have no idea how payments would work for me as I haven't supplied fit notes, but a letter confirming a new diagnosis on top of one I already have! I am in LCW group so hopefully no wait time for payment and only if I get moved to LCWRA! 🤞0

Around 18 months back, I reported a change in condition in that both my arms were being affected. Then in October I finally got to see the Pain Clinic and the consultant agreed that I have compression of the ulnar nerve in both arms but I also have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome aswell. So I reported this other diagnosis and wasn't prompted to supply anfit note. I did question this, but was told not to worry as it's not a worsening of condition but an extra diagnosis of a existing problem.0
