In the middle of reassessment awaiting operation

My health is terrible and I’m recovering from surgery and sepsis. My mind is fuzzy all the time and I don’t quite feel like me. I feel slow. My mind feels slow and it’s really frustrating. I’m waiting for more surgery and praying for a paper based assessment as a dream.
I’m fully prepared for a phone assessment. I put so much into my form and added so much detail and appropriate information and gave context to my situation, I really hope they take into consideration everything provided and it’s a smooth process. It’s so so easy to overthink, I’m just filled with dread.
What helps you switch off from all of this?

Hi @daisy1838, I'm sorry to hear you're recovering from surgery and sepsis, but I'm wishing you a very speedy recovery.
Personally, as tricky as it sounds, I find it best to try and not think about the forms once they're sent off, as you could be looking at a very long wait as Woodbine said. But it sounds like you answered how each descriptor affects you, so that's the right thing to do.
We're all here for support and chats if you want? The coffee lounge and games rooms are great places to take your mind off things.0 -
Thank you so much I completely forgot about other rooms. It’s crazy how our minds can get so muddled!Hoping you’re as well as can be and enjoy a relaxing weekend1

Not a worry at all @daisy1838, happy to help.
And I'm good thanks, I'll be off for a few days, so it'll be housework for me.0
