Hi , i wonder if anyone can help .
i receive the highest rate of pip ( my partner works) does anyone know if my 2 year old should get the 15 hours free childcare? As when i’ve looked it doesn’t look like she would as i don’t receive any other benefits.
thanks

For the new childcare rules for 15 hours both you and your partner need to be working and each earn more than £8,670/year. See link https://educationhub.blog.gov.uk/2023/01/02/when-apply-for-15-hours-free-childcare/
There’s tax free childcare, have you looked onto that? https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare
Have you also looked to see if there’s any entitlement to Universal Credit? It’s means test so both yourself and partner will need to claim as a couple. Your joint circumstances will be taken consideration. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you’re excluded from claiming. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator
If it shows entitlement you can report your health condition, supported by a fit note and this will start the work capability assessment process off. If found to have either LCW or LCWRA then you can claim childcare costs through UC.
