Hi , i wonder if anyone can help .
i receive the highest rate of pip ( my partner works) does anyone know if my 2 year old should get the 15 hours free childcare? As when i’ve looked it doesn’t look like she would as i don’t receive any other benefits.

For the new childcare rules for 15 hours both you and your partner need to be working and each earn more than £8,670/year. See link
There’s tax free childcare, have you looked onto that?
Have you also looked to see if there’s any entitlement to Universal Credit? It’s means test so both yourself and partner will need to claim as a couple. Your joint circumstances will be taken consideration. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you’re excluded from claiming. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement.
If it shows entitlement you can report your health condition, supported by a fit note and this will start the work capability assessment process off. If found to have either LCW or LCWRA then you can claim childcare costs through UC.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
