So once again the joy of starting a new job and telling everyone about my hearing impairment and explaining that if you speak to me and I don't answer it's because I've not heard you no other reason therefore try again but after 30 years it's not easy, especially working in an office environment but luckily once I understand the job I can work from home so no more unsuitable working environment but until then I'm have to grin and bear it.

Hi @SWOWdrOthE congratulations on your new job. I would of thought if you've made people aware then shouldn't be an issue. If there are any issues then raise them with your manager.

Congrats on the new job @SWOWdrOthE, it can be difficult having to explain your condition 30 times a week when you're new to a place I know! I hope your employer has given you all the adjustments you need. Glad you'll be able to work from home.
They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with

It's my manager that is the problem Sandy_123 she said she'd let the rest of the team know but I don't think she has, I've asked for a sit down tomorrow so hopefully everything will get ironed out.
