As a result of contracting Covid last year I have been left with mobility issues. After nearly a month in hospital I had to learn to walk again, well more like shamble about.

HI @sizzy, welcome to our community
I see you've already received some lovely welcomes from our other members!
How are you doing today?
I know covid has had some horrible long-term affects for many people. We still don't fully understand all the effects, I'm sure there will be a lot of research into it so we hopefully get some answers.0 -
Thank you for the lovely welcomes. Since coming out of hospital I haven't been out of the house as I can't walk very far so have come to the conclusion that I will have to get something like a mobility scooter. It's all very well having the convenience of being able to buy most things on-line and have it delivered to your door but it would be nice to be able to tour the shops. Any recommendations for one that my friend could easily get in her car?0

I can look around, though I'm unsure of mobility scooters that can fit in regular cars. I know if you do need such adaptations though there may be something via the motability scheme if you receive PIP?0
