edited February 5 in Universal Credit (UC)
Hi to anyone who can provide information or help

I have been on universal credit 3 years and have been providing sick notes since 01/11/22

My pay dates is the 12th of each month

Due to them messing around with the health assessment dates I had my assessment a couple weeks ago and had a letter last friday starting I will be getting the LCWRA

when should I start been paid this and will I be backdated?

Would appreciate the help as I'm rather confused

Thanks
Lewis

Providing there were no gaps in your fit notes your waiting period will be as follows. Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 6th Feb to 5th March and first payment will be 12 March 2023.

Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.

As you are close to the end of this assessment period there may not be enough of time to include the element this month, which will mean they will owe you an extra month.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Yes I've just had a letter on my journal and are getting backdated payment of £3474.76 which they said will go in my account Wednesday

All the statements have been updated showing LCWRA put my statement for February's pay isnt on until tomorrow

Will this also have the extra £390 LCWRA payment?

Thanks for the help and information

Good news that it was sorted quickly because this doesn't always happen. I'm afraid I have no idea if it will be included with this months statement, you will need to check it.

Hey @Randomhero5, welcome to our community :) First of all congrats on getting a decision about LCWRA, it's not an easy journey. I hope it helps you out. I don't think I can add anything that Poppy has not already metioned.

I'll just move this to our Universal Credit section incase you have any further questions :)
They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
