This thing about uc checking banks. What if you close your bank account and open a different bank account.
Will they still want to see statements from old accounts?

It's all guess work at the moment but I suspect they will be able to see old/closed accounts should they want to, I don't think its about them wanting statements but gaining the power to ask the banks for our details, we will have to wait and see I suppose.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Banks by law keep a record of bank statements for 7 years regardless of whether the account is open or closed
