Hello all.  I am in receipt of the enhanced rate of pip.  My adult son moved in with me to help care for me some time ago, he works full time.  We were told it will not affect my claim as I receive the enhanced rate.  My question is, if I have my son put on the tenancy agreement will this have an affect on my housing benefit claim.
many thanks

Being in receipt of daily living PIP will exclude you from non dependent deductions.

If he’s named on the tenancy agreement then you would both be liable for 50% of the rent. Your housing benefit would decrease because your liability would be less.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
