Confused about lwrca and carer element

Just looking for a clear answer to this as I’ve looked online but my brain can’t really take it in as there is so many different opinions, so please if you can, make the answer very simple 🤦🏻♀️
me and my partner both have lcwra (only one payment as is normal) I have PiP also. My partner does not claim pip. Because he was found lwrca he does not have to look for work. If he claims the carer element (not allowance) with it change his commitments UC. Thank you

No, it won’t change his commitments because carers also do not have work requirements.1
