Pip award

in PIP, DLA, ADP & AA
Hi everyone. Asking for my friend. She has been awarded pip. High rate for mobility and standard for daily living. Her award letter says until July 2027 but the award letter also says dwp will contact her in July 2026 to see if anything has changed. Does this mean her award is until 2026 or 2027 it's confusing. Thank you x

    They usually start the review a year before award finishes ...sobif review concludes before July 27...then new award will start earlier

    So the award is not til 2027 it's until 2026. 🤔

    That was quite sometime ago that they were a year before. Then before the pandemic they changed to 6 months before. Now because of the delays with review decisions they are contacting you 8 months before your award is due to end. This is based on my own personal reviews and many other members feedback here.
