Feeling overwhelmed

Can anyone give me some advice on who or what to do my hot water tank broken before Xmas and I don't have the funds who could I contact as I don't cope well speaking to people
 This is a first for me and proud of myself for signing up to this site

What kind of housing do you live in at the moment? Do you own, do you rent privately or are you in council housing? The kind of help you can get might vary a little bit depending on your situation, but hopefully our lovely members can offer some advice on things you could try
