Hi, just got awarded lcwra but confused how it works. First sick note was on 26th October. Got the award on 22nd February. Normally get paid on the 30th each month but no lcwra payment was included in this months statement. Someone please help me out and explain it too me. Thanks.

Your waiting period will be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 24th Feb to 23rd March and first payment will be 30th March. No LCWRA element is owed.0

Hi sorry I’ve also been awarded it my first sick note was given in to universal credit on 1st nov I got my first universal on 5 dec then 5 th jan and feb I haven’t heard anything from them to say what I will get or how and when atall yet my next normal universal credit is 5 march will I get it soon or any back date if I only started my universal claim 1 nov0

If you reported your health condition when you first claimed UC then your first payment will be 5th April. No LCWRA element is owed.0
