Hello All, I have a chronic condition and mental health issues, I work full time - office based as admin support for a hospital. I muddle through the best I can, like the most of us - but its getting harder - 57 this year, I am so grateful to be here, I have asked for a reasonable adjustment to work two days at home of two mornings. unfortunately I have to wait until my new manager starts, which is April 2024. Through the pandemic I was a shielding member of the community and worked from home - no issues were ever recorded. I guess I am looking for support, guidance, strategies on how to navigate this situation, thank you all, I feel blessed to have found you all.

    Hello @shine

Welcome to the community! :) I hope everything goes well with the new manager. You can always reach out to your union (if you have one) for support. ACAS can also help support and guide you.

My personal advice would be to put everything in writing. Just so you always have a dated record.

Thank you so so much for your reply, yes I am doing all this, my union rep is a bit of a mop but hey ho! I've also contacted an organisation , they use to be remploy , for people in the work place who have mental health, they support for nine months, I'm having a telephone conversation with them in March, I'm waffling now 😂, once again,  thank you xxxx
