I am not really one for media so not many films make my short list but, a bit morbid perhaps, I really really like Schindler’s List

I very rarely cry as a result of something I’ve watched on film or media but did get tearful at the end of this film

For musicals, I love Little Shop of Horrors and Les Miserables is always a good one too! I'd find it hard to pick my true favourite musical, mine changes with my mood! But for films, Jurassic Park is usually my top pick :)

I love the old hollywood musicals, like Singing In The Rain, Swing Time, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers... my favourite changes with my mood too.

Favourite film is a hard one! But I will say my most watched film is The Muppet's Christmas Carol :D

Not sure if this counts, but my favourite musical would be Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton (currently learning Jack's Lament on the piano!)
Film-wise, it would probably be Megamind, for both the childhood memories and the awesome soundtrack

I'm also a huge TNBC fan, so you're not alone there at all @MaxAardvarkWisbey it's such a beautiful and fun film, my friends went to see the live concert last year.  I also covered Sally's song on vocals and bass at university many moons ago. :)

@Albus_Scope i never knew there was a live version! Will be keeping an eye out now, haha.
And that's awesome that you did a cover! I'm still at the very beginning of the song on piano, but making slow progress

They've been touring with it @MaxAardvarkWisbey, with Danny Elfman performing!  There's vids on youtube of songs I believe?  Billy Eilish did a surprise appearance to sing Sally's song a few years back.

Piano is something I always wished I could play properly, but slow progress means good progress. So you'll be busting the tunes out in no time. :)

@Albus_Scope i'm not a social media/news person haha, so i had no idea! Will be looking up as many videos as i can now
Piano is fun! I don't tend to play anything traditional though, mostly Kpop and guitar riffs from metal songs haha

Glad I could spread some love then!

I've found some of the heavier or power metal songs are great for piano practice.  If you slow them down loads. Nightwish springs to mind for that actually. :D

Another excellent choice there! I do love the acoustic covers of Last Resort that I've heard so far. :)

Thrillers, Action and Horrors for me.

Sleeping with the Enemy, a really good film.

    Speed, a really good film.

Horrors with a good story line and some twists.
