I own my flat having bought it from local council but I am struggling paying Service Charge and Council Tax. I am close to 90 and with Dementia among other illnesses and I am on full benefit such us Pension Credit. Is there anyway I can get help with these anywhere?

Hi @sablaale, you say you receive full benefits. What is it you do receive? Do you also have some kind of support or care worker at all who can help support you with this in person? We can help find you answers and what to do, but it's often helpful to have someone around who can help with the doing
If you don't there are advisers out there who can help!
Let us know how you're getting on and what you do get! Hopefully we can find the answers for you0 -
For help with service charges you can claim housing benefit from your local Authority but whether there's any entitlement will depend on what the service charges are for. Housing benefit doesn't cover all service charges. See link.https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/eligible-rent-for-housing-benefit-and-service-charges
For council tax you can claim council tax reduction from your local Authority as well.0
