Psychiatrist report

Hi all, I was referred to a psychiatrist in 2019, after an indepth 1hr 40min consultation if that's the right word, I was diagnosed with PTSD, depression, adjustment disorder, OCD and anxiety.
Now just before Christmas I saw another psychiatrist and that meeting lasted 20mins max, and then last week I had another appointment with a LOCUM Psychiatrist and he just asked how I was, asked about the meds I'm on and that was it, a 15min appointment.
This week I received the letter from them outlining the appointment and describing what was said and my diagnosed conditions. All he wrote down was adjustment disorder and anxiety, in his other sections he mentioned that I wasn't suicidal (I've had these thoughts for 10 years and is a reason I was referred to a psychiatrist) and that I wasn't depressed?? Again I've been on antidepressants for 10 years and take 2 different types everyday. So when I get this letter I rang the mental health team up, spoke to the psychiatrists secretary who I explained everything to and she said she will get the letter changed to include the previous diagnosis. Today a new letter came, it now includes the suicidal thoughts with in it, but there was a small note attached saying the psychiatrist will discuss my diagnosis at my next appointment in 6 months?!, now I'm going to contact them tomorrow to see if I can have another appointment soon, it's really screwed my head up since I got these letters, and to top it off my PIP is currently under review, and I've no idea if this report will now go against me due to the diagnosis being incorrect. Do I need to ring my GP up and see if I talk to him regarding it and whether he will note my records correctly, being as its them who referred me to see a psychiatrist, or whether it's also best to ring the mental health team and see if I can get another appointment soon? I'm really stressed atm about this, so any help in this or clarification regarding whether it would affect my PIP review would be greatly appreciated.

Insist on getting this changed and to include your medication.letitbe said:wowmee said:Hi all, I was referred to a psychiatrist in 2019, after an indepth 1hr 40min consultation if that's the right word, I was diagnosed with PTSD, depression, adjustment disorder, OCD and anxiety.

Hello @wowmee
I am so sorry it's been so stressful and confusing for you with the letters. You mentioned being under a mental health team. I wanted to check in that you were getting support?
How did the call go today? Did you manage to get an earlier appointment?0 -
Hiya. Well a bit more positive today, I've spoken to the mental health team and I've managed to get an appointment via telephone in the middle of April. As I previously mentioned a concern of mine was related to a pip renewal that's going through as ive been claiming it for nearly10 years with the same diagnosis, the secretary i spoke to stated its likely that my gp will go from his notes regarding my medication and mental well-being if they get contacted by the dwp, but the new appointment will hopefully get the diagnosis corrected 👍 fingers crossed.0

@wowmee I'm so glad you got an earlier appointment!
It's great to hear you have support around you! It is funny! Think if I speak to them, I can get tonight's winning lottery numbers? I know it can be so frustrating when pushed from pillar to post with different people. I spent nearly 2 years seeing registrars who never took extensive notes! I hope this appointment with your GP just nips it all in the bud and you have a clear path1
