Received my letter from PIP, I asked for a paper based assessment and a 10 year award, I got both. Hopefully no more hassle from the DWP for a while, but just my luck they'll contact me sooner than 2034 ..
Just for information it took 24 weeks in total from sending my form off to getting the decision.

Thank you @chiarieds, If it's paper based do you know if the DWP does a report you can ask for, I like to keep these things for my reference.0

That's brilliant news! If your file was sent to the health assessment providers there will be a report. If it wasn't and a decision maker made the decision without sending the file across then there won't be a report.1

Oh thank you so much Poppy, Iv'e no idea if they did or didn't send it to the assessment people. I might brave the PIP telephone call one morning!! Once again you have been so helpful.
My friend has just rung me to say she has had the same result, she initially had hers stopped as the said she didn't send her forms in time! She had and it was reinstated within the week. Her review has taken 30 weeks.1 -
Congratulations to your friend too! I love a happy ending.2
