Good morning I have been off work since the end of July 2023. I have been awarded LCWRA from the 14th November although I didn't have my assessment until January.
My question is should my assessment periods have been from july-sep/oct. ?
As UC are saying that I have to have three assessment periods from November although I've provided fit notes from July.
Sorry if I'm not making much sense!

The waiting period starts from when you provided your first fit note, providing you continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on your claim.
What date exactly did you provide your first fit note? And what date do you usually receive your money each month?0 -
Thanks for your reply.
Started 27th July 2023 and I normally get paid on the 10th of the month
Am I okay to copy and paste what UC have said to me ?0 -
That means your waiting period will be Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov… LCWRA starts from assessment period 4th Nov to 3rd Dec and first payment should be 10th December. This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes.
Yes you can post what they said but please make sure you cover all your personal information.
