If you don’t have anyone to help fill out the low income forms you can ask an advice agency for help.

I don’t know for certain if there’s any entitlement because that will depend on your joint circumstances.
Hi @callumt72 please don't worry about the posts doubling up.  As you've not verified your email, if you post quickly, your comments will get stuck in our "spam queue" which we manually have to go through each day.  So your comments may not appear straight away. :)

I'm sorry to hear you're overwhelmed with all of this. Do you have a friend or family member who could help fill in the forms? If not it may be worth contacting your local CAB.
    Hi,

Just to say I have resolved this issue by contacting my local Specsavers and they removed the vouchers on the grounds of staff error, they've agreed to me paying the rest of my order when I can no rush.

My conclusion is that the whole NHS excemption, free tests etc.... is to complicated for the average person to understand, let alone someone with disabilties and other difficulties, there seems to be to much pressure on people who need these services the most, espesially with newer systems like Universal Credit critera.

I appectiate everyones help, if anyone ever sees this, don't think its ever to late to contact opticians or dentists to clear up any issues through there end.

Glad it's been sorted. Please do remember for future eye tests and dental. I wouldn't call UC a newer system as it's been about 10 years since it was introduced. Though it is more difficult to understand the criteria for free NHS treatment because no everyone claiming it will be entitled.
