I just wanted to share something I did which is not big deal to most but it is to me

I have cut down my alcohol before but my drinking always slowly crept back up over several weeks, but this time I’ve kept it up for 2 months so far…

I’ve been keeping my weekly units in the low 20s (19 a couple of times) which is a bit above the 14 unit guideline (though still within the "old" guideline of 21-28) but a massive improvement on 100+ units and my doctor is very happy with it

However...I’ve still been having something every day, even if it’s only 1 unit like a single measure of whisky

But, on Tuesday I had a completely alcohol free day e.g. 0 units

I’m really pleased with that :blush:

Thanks for reading :D
