Hi, everyone. Could you please tell me if your universal credit health assessment is done by telephone 15 weeks after your first sick note is given, do they backdate your money from the date of the sick note which was 4th of December, or does it get paid after the 14 weeks.

I forgot to say my pay date is the 4th of every month, and there was no gaps between each sick note. My recent sick note runs until 29th April.

There’s a 3 full month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note. First payment is then at the end of that month. It’s not paid at all during the waiting period.

If the date you provided your first fit note was 4th Dec then your waiting period will be … Jan to April.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 29th April to 28th May and first payment will be 4th June.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thank you for answering. That helps. Just have to wait for June to come around now.
