Hi,

I was awarded enhanced mobility in my claim and was 2 points off standard daily living rate, since I have recently found that it is now in my hands and fingers where I didn't need support/ adaptations to help with cleaning and cooking I now do but I'm worried if I report a change of circumstances they may withdraw my mobility allowance? Has anyone got any previous experience in reporting a change in circumstances?

Many thanks in advance :)

I rang up to report a change of circumstances.  I applied in late July, sent the form back at the end of August, had an assessment in Nov and their decision the same month. I now receive enhanced for both components.

Before reporting changes you need to make sure it's possible to score more points needed for a higher award. PIP is not about your ability to clean/do house work.

Reporting changes means they will send you more forms to fill in and return with all your supporting evidence. Another assessment is most likely because most people have them. Once a decision is made your award could either stay the same, be increased, reduced or stop completely.
