Do you think we should have another delivery company for post other than the Royal Mail?

I think we should have a working postal service.
many big businesses do use other services
The PO is a classic example of capitalism and profit rather than service.
We can basically see this in most‘public service’ most are contracted to multinational corporations.
it’s very easy to dilute responsibility when this happens.

We're lucky in that the Royal Mail is very reliable around here. Nothing too much trouble for them, never miss any mail, will sign for packages and bring them around the back to a safe place
If I've sent something next day and it doesn't get there ... a quick claim and the refund is there within 24 hours. In fact I can't complain about any delivery service/ courier ... always there when they say
On the subject of postmen, I'm a having a perverse chuckle at ours every day ... needed a new front gate, and I've put the hinges on the opposite side ... every morning you hear the postie effing and jeffing because they're so used to it opening a different way0
