Hey @juju66 I'm sorry to hear you and your husband are feeling lonely and need help with food.
Have you spoken to your local council about local events you may be able to join in with, or anything online?
As far as food goes, have you looked at a benefits calculator, just to make sure you're receiving all the help you're entitled to? Have you checked out The Trussel Trust for local food bank information?0 -
Don't no haw to do it trying to get a code so my neighbour can take us to bromley foid bank as you can't just walk in you need a ref or something0

Hi @juju66 do you mean a code for the food bank? Is this via your local council or the Trussel trust?
This link will take you straight to the emergency food page on the Trussel trusts website, which will talk you through what you need to do and show you which is your nearest foodbank, I hope this helps.

Hi @juju66 - & welcome to the community from me too, Julie.Another resource for food, & I also know they'll often visit people too, is the Salavation Army. It doesn't matter what faith you might have, or none. Please see: https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/foodbanksYou can see if there's one near you here: https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/map-page as it says on their main web page, they offer practical help, friendship & support
