I had mental illnes for 10 years but i have awarded with PIP only in 2024

Hello everyone , i had mental illness for 10 years , i have a questione if i was diagnosted with mental illness 10 years ago and every year its gets worse and worse i tried alot of medicine but none of them help to be honest , and i got awarded with PIP only in 2024 is there any chance i can get money for 10 years of having that illness from PIP because i found out about PIP only last year in September.

Unfortunately not. No one is automatically entitled to PIP, unless they have a terminal illness, with 12 months or less left to live. It will only be paid from the date you rang to start your claim.0
