Hi I got a letter on the 8, 4 2024 informing me that my mandatory reconsideration has been turned down so I'm going to go to tribunal stage . however when I looked at the date of the letter it was dated 18th march so its taken 23 days or so to get to me so can I ring and ask for more time and how do I ring please?

There's no need to do that. You have 13 months ro request the Tribunal, all you need to do is tell them why you didn't request it within the first month. It's highly unlikely they will refuse a late appeal.
However, as it's only 7/04/2024, I'm sure that the 8th date you mentioned is a typo.1 -

You are still within the 1 month anyway. You can request the Tribunal online.submit-appeal1
