I applied for LCWRA last October and started sending the fit notes in on my journal and at the beginning of March I received confirmation I had been awarded LCWRA and I was expecting payments to start in March but March payment had no mention of it and what has brought me here to the page is 2 main reasons . 1 my payment date is the 20th of each month and the cut off period is normally the 13th of the month .Will the LCWRA be on our universal payment for April ? The 2nd question is when beginning the process in October 2023 and I wanted to ask will it be backdated and if so when to ? Since being awarded it I have literally had 1 message on my journal and I just want to know what I need to be doing ? eg do I keep sending fit notes ,is it backdated and if so how far is it backdated to and is there anything I need to undertake ?

The decision letter will have advised you that you no longer need to provide fit notes. There’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time for the extra money. It’s then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note, with first payment being the end of that month. It’s not paid at all during the waiting period.
When it’s paid from exactly will depend on the answer to the following questions.
what date exactly you provided your first fit note?Did you continue to send fit notes without any gaps until the decision was made on your claim?0
