I am a 49 year old disabled man with spine damage and other disabilities I have a old dbl matress that the springs are coming through I need a orthopedic matres bbit unable to afford it so I'm looking for help thanks

Hi @shane1974, welcome to our community I hope we can get you some solutions to your problem. New mattresses really can be expensive, sometimes there can be grants for these sorts of purchases. Though if it's okay with you I'd like to ask a few questions to see if another option might be available. Can it be quite difficult to get into and out of bed at all?
If the answer to that is yes then you may want to reach out to your local authority to see if getting an equipment assessment. The outcome of these assessments can include equipment such as recliner beds, the assessment may also highlight other areas of your home that could be adapted, or have equipment added, to help you.0 -
I have a hand rail ti help get in and out of bed im sure my local council said they don't do grants for beds thanks fir your rdsponse0
