Redundancy

Hi it’s looking as though I may be made redundant due to a long term illness that I have as I am not fit to go back to work.
I am currently on Universal Credit, LCWRA & PIP. My question is will UC take the 55p of every £1 that I receive from the redundancy. I’ve tried to get in contact with citizens advice and it’s impossible to get hold of anyone. Can anyone on here help please ?

Hey @Albertvictor I'm so sorry to hear about the redundancy. The redundancy money will be counted as capital. So it will count as savings.0

Thanks for that but would it be the whole amount Approximately £10500 ? I thought with UC anything over £6000 could be classed as income ?0
