Hi
I'm after some advice if possible please, my mither is 74 lives in a council house. She gets a discount in council tax and rent she only receives her pension and private pension and pension credit. She also claims pip the lowest. My brother has moved in with her after a relationship breaking down. He does work he also claims pip, will she lose everything? He's currently taking the Michael with her not paying her any money, constantly washing and drying, using all her gas and electricity she's struggling as it is and it's like talking to the wall talking to him

Hey there @cheesenuggets246 welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear about your moths struggles. I definitely think the least your brother can do is help out a bit, though I understand things can be a bit delicate after a break up.
With regard to the financial aspect, I cant say if she'd lose her discounts, as it can vary with local councils. It may be worth checking on their website or calling them?0
