Hey just looking some advice I get pips and lcwra and standard allownace with universal credit.i have been given a gift of 3 grand from a friend which I have put in bank do I have to declare my savings to universal credit?

    If your total capital is less than £6,000
    it is ignored so you don’t need to declare it. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
