I like a few films but Schindler’s List scores quite highly by me along with some war films like Enemy at the Gates and Saving Private Ryan
I like how there is no music at all during the first 20 mins beach assault scene of Saving Private Ryan and you don’t really notice as it doesn’t need anything to make it more atmospheric2 -
I'll probably change my mind in ten minutes. But my favourite film has been Dune for many many years. Though the recent pt 1 and 2 films have been amazingly good, but you just cant beat that old 80s feel.1

Cool Runnings or Zulu. I still cry at the endings of both
Mind you I cried watching Ice Age when I thought Diego had died1 -
I like Dune and Bladerunner,..old sci fi movies..
Have a look at Spicedrivers Redux version of Dune on You Tube..quite a brilliant edit and more of the flavour of the book.2 -
Oof, very difficult for me to choose a favourite film.
Some great suggestions here though!
I happen to really like Tarantino films, though they aren't to everyone's taste!1 -
Tarantino is a brilliant writer and director. Jackie Brown and pulp fiction two of my favourite from him. But all his movies are great.0

A very popular choice I know but I have to say The Green Mile is somewhere in my top 10+.
I also love Where the Crawdads Sing, On Golden Pond, Funny Girl, The Magnificent Seven, Deliverance, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Hustler/The Colour of Money, 28 Days Later (can't wait for 28 Years Later), Django, Whiplash. An ever growing list. 😊
