Tribunal
Hello all, I am in the middle of tribunal. Got an update today saying the dpw has responded and will get it in the post.
The update says tribunal has been booked on the status but then says it can take several months? Also I now have on my journal a call booked to review my claim? I’ve never had this before !? Does is this normal?
I have bad anxiety and I’m just worried I can’t speak to anyone else.
Thanks guys. Appreciate your help as always x

Hiya @Dan88 I totally understand the anxiety increasing, they always make tribunals out to be something scary, but in all honesty, I found the tribunal worlds apart from my initial PIP assessments. They were caring and are there to help you, so please try not to worry too much.
Wait times for tribunals are very long currently, as so many people are having to go through them to get their PIP sorted, so delays are to be expected.
Is your tribunal for PIP? I'm a bit confused about your journal, is this call PIP related or UC related?0 -
@Albus_Scope hi, thanks so much for reassuring me. Sorry I should have explained better. I get myself into such a state everytime I get an email from them. They suddenly decided I am fit for work and want me to go back, although my gp has disagreed as does my work coach.I had an assessment over the phone and the decision maker based it on that. So I did a MR and that also came back basically copy and paste job they upheld their decision. So I started the tribunal process.today I received an email saying UC have written back and that will be sent to me in the post..
I also then received this morning a notification on my UC journal they want to review my claim? To make sure my payments are correct.I do also receive pip but nothing has been mentioned about that yet. X0 -
Ahhh, gotcha so it's a tribunal regarding UC LCWRA? And please, no need to apologise, I have extreme anxiety too, so I know how fast that brain's working right now.
Ok so they sound like two separate things that just happened unfortunately at the same time. Occasionally people will be asked to go in for a claim review, often they'll ask for a couple of years of bank statements. It's basically to make sure you're receiving the right amounts and it's nothing sinister.0 -
Oh ok it’s All over the phone. I feel like they are doing this because I’m appealing! Honestly I can’t take anymore from them! It’s every other day! I don’t even know what to do.0

The review in your UC sounds like something completely different to the Tribunal.UC are randomly review thousands of people’s claims to make sure everything is correct. If it is this and I suspect it is then you will likely be asked to send it about 4 months of bank statements. There’s been quite a few threads here in the past about this.0
