LCWRA while working

My partner is off work currently receiving SSP I completed the UC50 form, it seems he has had a paper base assessment and has been awarded LCWRA
His sick note expires 15 May and he was going to try and do phase return...
How does LCWRA work with work?
Do you have a limit to how many hours you can work?
Or is it the amount you earn that affects the LCWRA?
I know it can't contradict your reason for receiving LCWRA
Don't want him to loose the LWCRA incase he struggles getting back into work as he has PTSD and mental health issues
Any advice is much appreciated
Thanks

There’s no maximum amount of hours you can work when found to have LCWRA.You will have the work allowance which means that you or your partner can receive a certain amount of earnings each month before any deductions apply.
If you claim for help with the rent it will be £404/month, if you don’t it will be £673/month. For every £1 of earnings received above those amounts your UC reduces by 55p. See link https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/work-allowance-universal-credit
If he starts working he must report a change of circumstances and tell them he’s working.1 -
Hi Poppy, so atm he is down as employed but giving fit notes, getting ssp from his employer.... when he returns on phase return does he have to put that his working when they already know he has a job. Also he won't know how many hours he will be able to do a week untill he actually try's to go back0

He will just need to tell them that he's returning to work. As you're already aware they will get his earnings details directly from HMRC RTI anyway.0
