Hello, I'm Lizzie, old , broken and loosing confidence with every life event 🫣🥴😄
Can anyone advise me?? I'm going to be making my first journey to France in 20 + years. Then I could manage on crutches but I am now wheelchair dependent and it took a long time and help from a charity to buy the electric wheelchair that transformed my housebound life, BUT I'm so scared my chair will be damaged by baggage handlers as it has to go in the hold .... Any advice please 🙏🏽 😁

Hi Lizzie, you sound like myself pulling yourself down due to lost confidence and many illnesses. I’m not in your position as everyone is different (but unique ❤️) but reading this made me realise how important it is to be kind to ourselves, I would love it if you were kind to yourself too, you are definitely worth it and no where how you describe yourself 😘🌟i
sending you open arms for a big hug and some love ❤️ thrown in to help you 🥰. I really hope you feel better about yourself
as for insurance, the best place is Mark Bates insurance for anything mobility scooter/motorised wheelchair etc. I had insurance with him for my scooter but just had a new chair (lol 😂 I call it my electric chair, it just comes out my mouth that way!) and gunna have them again. I think maybe theirs cheaper but my chair sales said use them and my mum (she’s 80, I’m 55!) has them for her scooter.
The battery broke and got stuck once and within 4 hours they had driven down to where they were, fixed the problem, new battery and off they went. That’s fab service so worth the money.
I know what you mean about worrying it will get damaged tho! 😖😖
worst mines had is through my driving lol 😂 I seem to aim for anything and just hit it before I stop !! Thank goodness it’s not been a person,,  yet!

Thinking of you lovely lizzie. Let me know how you get on please
