I had my assessment on Friday and was wondering if I should be concerned as after each question I answered she added things like this would cause lots of pain! Why would she do this and also I've not had a text to say DWP have received my report can I ring up on Monday and ask if they have it?

I know it's difficult not to 2nd guess yourself and to constantly think of what questions was asked, why they were asked and why they said what they did but it's not going to help your anxiety.

Not everyone receives a text when the report is returned and they don't always send it as soon as the assessment is completed.

You can ring to ask for the report to be sent to you but they won't send it until they've received it back. Requesting the report is not something I would recommend because more often than not it causes so much more anxiety than you may already have.

If you do go ahead and request it please remember, it's not the decision, it's a recommendation. Whilst they mostly go with it, they have been known to go against it.

Once the report is returned a decision can take up to 12 weeks.

Thankyou poppy I don't think I'm going to get it anyway I just wondered why they would add on extra bits to my answers that I gave as she tried to trip me up a few times then backtracked on herself then asked questions in other ways then wrote it would cause more pain after my answers but I gave her the same answer each time
